Delivery/Pick Up

Do you deliver?

Yes we can deliver your order.

How much does delivery cost?

Click here to calculate your cost of delivery prior to ordering.

Our delivery cost is calculated based on your delivery location, time and day,  NOT how much you order.

Will you be on time?

We always work to ensure your catering arrives by your required time but we cannot control unforeseen problems or traffic delays and therefore please allow for a delivery window of 30 minutes.

Can I collect from a store?

Yes.

Where is my nearest store?

There are 2 ways to find your nearest store:

  1. Visit our Find A Store page where you will find store locations and opening hours 
  2. At checkout your nearest open store will be indicated to you based on the information you enter
Do you deliver outside of Opening Hours?

We want to help make your catering a success, so if you need delivery outside of our standard opening hours, please call the store and discuss your requirements and we will try to find the best solution for you.

Products & Extras

Do you supply Napkins?

Yes. 

Napkins are included with all catering orders.

Do you supply plates, cutlery and Tongs?

We can provide you with disposable plates, cups & cutlery and serving tongs  from all of our stores at a small additional cost 

Do you have cold drinks?

Yes.

You can add them to your order.

Do you sell Hot Coffee & Tea?

Yes.

However this is only from selected stores and cannot be ordered online. If you would like more information on this please complete a catering enquiry and we will will be in touch. 

Do you make custom cakes?

Many of our cakes can carry your  special message, either hand written directly onto the cake, or on a hand written chocolate plaque. 

We also offer a range of Celebration Cakes - larger size cakes for those bigger functions and celebrations that come in a variety of styles and sizes up to 190 serve . For cakes larger than 190 serve, please complete a catering enquiry form and we will prepare a custom quote and contact you to discuss.

We also offer custom cupcakes  where you can add your corporate logo or personal image to the cupcake topper. 

Can I add items that I’ve seen at my local store to my order?

Yes.

Most of these products can be found on the online product pages however if you can't find the specific product you want, please call the store and place your complete order direct with them.

 

Do you offer catering for Special Dietary needs?

Yes. 

We offer a range of solutions for those with Special Dietary needs, including  Gluten Friendly, Vegetarian, Vegan, Low Fodmap and Halal.

Our Gluten Friendly range is made with Gluten Free ingredients on a premises where Gluten is present. 

You can also use our filters and search options on product pages so it's easier for your to find your specific dietary requirements.

Do you offer Gluten Friendly options?

Yes.

We cater for a number of special dietary needs including Gluten Friendly, Vegan, Vegetarian, Low Fodmap and Halal. 

Our Gluten Friendly items are made from Gluten Free ingredients in an environment, in which Gluten may be present.

Ordering, Cancelling and Payments

How do I know how much to order?

To help you with estimating the quantities you require for your specific function please use our "quick and easy planning guide".

Can I order a cake with my catering?

Yes.

You can have a cake delivered with your Catering. If you celebrating a special event, we can write a customised message onto most cakes.

How much notice do I need to give?

For most products the following applies:

  • For Monday - Saturday orders: Place orders no later than 3pm the day before
  • Public Holiday orders:  Due to restricted opening hours on Public holidays, please complete a catering enquiry form in advance and we will let you know how we can best help. 

Please Note: Some speciality products require slightly longer notice. This information will be displayed to you in the product details page before you add it to your cart. You'll recieve a warning in the cart when added.

What if I have a last minute change to my order?

You can change your order online.

There are some restrictions that apply:

  • For Monday - Saturday orders: Changes are not available online after 3.00pm the day before the due date.
  • For Sunday orders: Changes are not available online after 3.00pm the Friday before the due date.
  • For Public Holidays: A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for Public Holidays. 

After these times, please contact the store caring for your order directly to see if changes can be made.

Can I have Vegetarian options on a separate platter?

We offer Vegetarian platters of sandwiches, savouries and sweets, our options include regular and small platters. Use the filters at the side of the product listing pages to find all Vegetarian platters within that section or the search along the top of our site for a more global search . 

Many of our platters carry a Vegetarian option within their tasty combinations,  which can be enjoyed by vegetarians and meat lovers alike.

We also offer Gluten Friendly, Vegan, Low Fodmap and Halal options for guests with other special dieatry needs.

Can I Cancel My Order?

Yes.

If your order was placed online , please follow the instructions below: 

To CANCEL an order go to:

  1. My Account 
  2. Orders and invoices 
  3. Select the '3 dots' uder Action  alongside the order you wish to Cancel 
  4. Select CANCEL 
  5. Your order is cancelled and you will reveive a notification 

There are some restrictions that apply to cancellations:

  • For Monday - Saturday orders: Should be made by 3.00pm on the day prior to due date.
  • For Sunday orders: Should be made by 3.00pm the Friday before the due date.
  • For Public Holidays : A minimum 72 hours notice is required online. 

Orders cancelled after these times, including day of order, will be charged in full.

If you are unable to cancel your order online, please contact the store caring for your order directly to discuss your options.

Can I get a quote?

Yes.

Please complete the simple catering enquiry form and we'll be in touch to discuss your exact requirements and provide a detailed quote. 

What payment options do I have?

We allow Credit Card payments online (VISA, Mastercard, American Express) and offer a Miss Maud Business Credit Accounts.

Can I get a copy of my tax invoice?

Yes.

If you're paying by credit card, a Tax Invoice will be emailed to you upon completion of your order.

Once logged into the website, you can also print a copy of your tax invoice from the “My Account” section.

To access invoices and see historical orders go to: 

  1. My Account 
  2. Orders and invoices 
  3. Select the '3 dots' uder Action  alongside the order the  invoice is required for 
  4. Select Invoice
  5. You  can them print a copy as required
Are prices inclusive of GST?

Yes.

All pricing is inclusive of GST. 

Can I pay direct into your bank account?

This can be arranged however payment will have to be received 48 hours prior to your event. Please contact your Miss Maud store direct to place your order.

Do you have a helpline to assist with my order?

Complete a catering enquiry form and we will contact you to provide all the assistance you may need.  We also offer live chat, Monday- Friday during office hours. 

Alternatively, please call the store direct with any questions you may have and one of our team will be happy to help.

Our catering planning guide gives some helpful hints and tips if you are unsure of what to order and the number of platters you will require.

 

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No.

We do not have a minimum order quantity for our catering platters or whole cakes and tortas.  However, some individual cakes, customised cupcakes and slices may have a minimum quantity, but this will be clearly shown on the page. 

We have no minimum  value for delivery. 

Can I edit my order?

Yes. 

If you placed your order online, you  can edit your order. Details of how to do this are below:  

To edit the order go to

  1.  My Account 
  2.  Orders and invoices 
  3. Select the '3 dots' under Action  alongside the order you wish to amend 
  4. Select Edit 
  5. You can then edit your order accordingly 

There are some restrictions that apply:

Yes,

Platters

How do I warm my baked savouries if I choose to have them delivered cold?

If you've ordered your savouries cold so that you can heat later, simply remove them from the catering platter supplied and place them onto a baking tray and heat at 180 for about 8- 10 minutes before serving.

Please note, domestic ovens do differ so please keep this in mind when heating your savouries.

How long will my platters stay warm / cold?

Warm Platters are delivered in our Warm Cell box - do not open our specially made 'Warm Cell box' until you're ready to serve  your guests,  this way your food will remain warm and ready to enjoy for approximately 1 hour.  

Cold Platters - it is recommended that cold platters are kept refrigerated until ready for serving.

Can I reheat the products?

If your platters are delivered WARM, we do not recommend reheating them a second time. 

Our savoury platters are available in a COLD option - ready to heat at a time convenient for you. Simply select the COLD option when ordering if you would like to heat yourself.

Reheating is simple, just remove from the platter and place on a baking tray in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes  at 180 degrees.  Domestic ovens do differ,  so please keep this in mind when heating.

How easy is it to serve your platters?

Our catering platter range is beautifully presented on purpose-designed packaging ensuring your catering arrives in perfect condition and ready-to-serve.

Simply 'lift the lid' for perfect and professional presentation.

They stack easily and conveniently  for storage and transportation  as well as being disposable and therefore are easy to clean-up after your event.

Are your platters disposable?

Yes.

Our platters are stackable and disposable for your convenience. 

How much space do I need to set up my platters?

Our catering platter range is beautifully presented on purpose-designed and ready to serve platters, simply 'lift the lid' for a proffessional presentation. 

The size of a regular platter is 25x45cm and our small platters measure  22x24cm and are stackable for easy clean away after your event.

Can I swap or change something on a platter?

As our platters are designed to ensure the specific quantity of products fit, swapping and changing products jeopardises our quality standards and therefore it is preferable that we don't make these changes.

However you can call the store direct to discuss possible options.

How Big are your Catering Platters?

We have two standard sizes of platter 

Regular platters measure 45cm long x 25cm wide x 7.5cm deep

Small Platters measure 22cm long x 24cm wide and 7.5 cm deep 

Our platters are stackable and are supplied with a handy catering bag, which allows for multiple platters to be  stacked and carried.

What are your most popular platters?

On each page we offer a sort facility in the top right hand corner. Simply select RECOMMENDED and this will sort the platters, showing our most popular platters first. You can also use our filters on the left hand side of the page to narrow your search for particular platters and contents.
