Apprenticeship
An apprenticeship provides structured training, enabling people of any age to learn and obtain a internationally recognised trade qualification. Apprenticeships comprise of a combination of on and off-the-job are generally completed over a 3 year period.
Your progress will be monitored very closely by Internal Management and the Registered Training Organisation.
You may also already have some the skills and knowledge that can be formally recognised and therefore you may have already completed certain units of the relevant apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship Benefits
There are many benefits you will recieve when you are working within the Miss Maud Team and completing an apprenticeship; These include;
- As an apprentice, you may be eligable for 2 annual payments from the Government, for up $500 each, to assist you in paying your fees.
- You may be eligable for a "wage top up" payment from the Federal Government, up to the total value of $2000.
- After passing your probabtion you will receive a once off payment worth up to $800, to assist you in paying for your tools of the trade!
- You may be eligable for other Federal Government Allowances, such as Youth Allowance.
