FEDERAL ELECTION 2013

THE COFFEE BEAN POLL RESULTS ARE IN!!

2013 Federal Election: Miss Maud spills beans on customers’ election flavour and unveils tasty new ‘Constitution’ for nation’s future

Following a caffeine-fuelled three weeks of pre-election conversations in fifteen Miss Maud coffee houses, restaurant and hotel in city and metropolitan Perth 45,336 customers have dropped a coffee bean into the unique Miss Maud Coffee Bean Poll to express their preferred flavour ahead of tomorrow’s Federal election.

Maud Edmiston (aka Miss Maud), leader of the Morning Tea Party of WA spilled the beans to reveal her customers’ views at a pre-election party attended by WA business and community leaders and customers.

The hospitality leader said that while the Miss Maud poll for the 2013 Federal Election showed the coalition as a clear winner with customers, the years ahead would be anything but a cake walk for the government.

“There will be many challenges on the table and there is a strong desire for honest and open communication about what needs to be done to achieve the nation’s goals,” she said.

Miss Maud said her tasting surveys had revealed many anxieties about the future and therefore in addition to sending the results of her surveys to the next Prime Minister the multi-award business woman has also created a new ‘Constitution’ for Australia which she said politicians and Australian citizens could hang in their kitchen as a recipe for building a better Australia.

“From my customers I know there is a hunger for honest and open communication and this straight talking new ‘Constitution’ offers a reminder of the need for us all to communicate honestly and openly and in a spirit of co-operation with each other to achieve what must be done to support the nation,” said Miss Maud.

“The thought provoking new Constitution is in many ways inspired by the ‘Miss Maud Corporate Constitution’ which guides my own organisation.  The simple communication offers a powerful beacon for Australians to live and work by,” she said.

The results of the Miss Maud Coffee Bean Poll showing the voting appetite of customers was revealed on a giant cake in the shape of Australia which will be enjoyed by clients of charities, Manna Inc and St Barts, an Anglican organisation.
