It's been 40 years since Miss Maud opened the first Miss Maud Swedish Pastry House in 1971 in, what was then, City Arcade.
To launch festivities, staff joined Miss Maud at a glamorous Memory Birthday Ball, held in the Grand Ballroom, Hyatt Regency, on Sunday 5 June.
It was an AMAZING night celebrating the Company’s heritage and capturing the excitement of the Company’s contemporary and strong future.
One of the highlights of the evening was a spectacular book-shaped cake created by the talented Swedish Bakehouse staff, with all 500 Team member names who are taking the Company forward.
A surprise performance by 2010 Australia’s Got Talent winners, JUSTICE CREW, had the 470 strong crowd cheering for more, as the talented group showed their style and unbelievable moves! They ROCKED!
Miss Maud Achievement Awards were presented on the night, with Monica Schofield, Store Manager, Miss Maud Warwick Grove, receiving the prestigious Company Employee of the Year award.
Miss Maud Karrinyup was awarded the Team of the Year.
Miss Maud has managed to combine warmth, comfort and personalised award-winning service with a contemporary organisation that is always improving, adapting and innovating to ensure we continue to live up to the Miss Maud Constitution which states “All our efforts are designed to give our customers pleasure by understanding their needs and providing for these abundantly”.
Today, our customers can enjoy our gorgeous treats and famous hospitality at 15 Miss Maud Pastry Houses, the Miss Maud Swedish Hotel & Restaurant and Miss Maud Catering Platters, all supported by our creative 24 hour Swedish Bakehouse team.
