Sharing some memorable Miss Maud moments....

1972, with a mate, Hay Street Mall, devoured a Princess Cake between us....

Being game one time at lunch with the girls, by all agreeing to try an oyster.  We all spat them out cause they were slimy and gross...it still makes us laugh

A close friend of mine became hooked on Miss Maud's pies - now he has "Miss Maud pies dinner parties" and I am hooked too!

We were only children.  Mum took us to Miss Maud's for lunch where you could eat as much as you could.  I remember my little brother finishing his food then licked his plate - was very funny, if a bit disgusting, he was only 4!

Sitting down sharing lunch and coffees with four generations of my family from my mum, my daughters and my grandson is pretty special!!

Many of our special family celebrations have been held at Miss Maud's.  I remember coffee and cake with my Oma (Grandma) as a child, Christmas Smorgasbord, Mum and Dad's 25th wedding anniversary and more recently, Mum's 60th surprise birthday.  Today we are celebrating my 2 1/2 year old's first bus and train ride to the City with coffee and cake!

16 years ago my then boyfriend took me out to Miss Maud's in Perth.  He got down on bended knee and proposed - I accepted.  2 children later, we are still happy and Miss Maud's is my favourite cafe and restaurant.

My parents always liked Miss Maud's to celebrate special occasions, so it seemed appropriate to use Miss Maud's for Dad's wake.  His favourite cake was Princess cake, so I ordered this for dessert.  When I opened the box, it had "Happy Birthday" - my Dad would have appreciated the funny side...

As a child, my husband thought the Smorgasbord was "Small Miss Maud" - we have enjoyed your hospitality over so many years.  He is 40 this year too!

My son, now 30 yeas old, requested Miss Maud Smorgasbord for his 5th birthday (rather than the typical McDonalds!!).  He relished every mouthful and still has good taste in food.

I enjoyed coming with my Nanna to have my favourite dish - chicken hollandaise...

When my sister was 3 and she ate too much chocolate cake and she threw up all over the place because she ate too much...!

Having breakfast with my daughter who was 3, she was eating her sausages and for some reason called out "I'm eating boogies" - all eyes were on our table that morning!!

I won best on ground for Swans and came to celebrate...

Being part of the Birthday Club and getting so excited when receiving my birthday card in the mail.  It made me feel so special.  I remember Miss Maud's from a young age and will forever.

My youngest daughter, then aged 9, disappeared when we were at the Smorgasbord table - then we saw her, singing with the band!

A few years ago I was going through a tough time in my life, my husband was very ill..a young couple had left a heart chocolate at the cashier for me...I will never forget that kind gesture from two very caring people....

I frequent Miss Maud's often with my 3 year old.  We always sit gazing out at the shops and I share with her what I wish I could afford to buy.  One day she gives me a kiss and says "It's OK Mummy, you can't always get what you want - but you have me and I love you"

Celebrating my friends 100th birthday, Miss Maud came over to wish her a Happy Birthday.  My friend will be 102 this year and enjoys Miss Maud Princess Cake once a week!
